421 4th St.
For the 2022-23 school year, Bridges students worked on two new home builds, including a house at 421 4th St. in Green Bay in partnership with
NeighborWorks Green Bay
. The site was previously a vacant lot.
The new
single family home
has three bedrooms and two baths. The students are built a 24'x24' detached garage. Students will worked on the floor, walls, framing, siding, roofing and finished carpentry of the home. Because these homes have a smaller footprint, students had the opportunity to do more roof framing, most of the drywall, and most of the finished carpentry.
