House under constructionThe Bridges Construction & Renovation program prepares juniors and seniors for employment, future education, and career pathways in architecture, construction, engineering and the military.

Upon completion of the one-year Bridges program, students are prepared for an apprenticeship or additional educational opportunities at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) and in-demand careers with high earning potential. 

Beyond skills building, the program provides an opportunity for students to make a positive impact on their community by building and renovating safe, affordable housing.

APPLICATION FORM

The Program:

Students attend class at West High School for approximately two days per week and work on-site for three hours a day for three days per week.

Students earn three high school elective credits.

Students earn five credits from NWTC in the areas of introduction to carpentry, floor framing systems and building codes.
