Students & instructor in houseThe Bridges Construction & Renovation program prepares juniors and seniors for employment, future education, and career pathways in architecture, construction, engineering and the military.

Upon completion of the one-year Bridges program, students are prepared for an apprenticeship or additional educational opportunities at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) and in-demand careers with high earning potential. 

Beyond skills building, the program provides an opportunity for students to make a positive impact on their community by building and renovating safe, affordable housing. Apply to enroll in Bridges today!

The Program:

Students attend class at West High School for approximately two days per week and work on-site for three hours a day for three days per week.

Students earn three high school elective credits.

Students earn seven credits from NWTC in the areas of introduction to carpentry; floor, roof, and ceiling framing systems; and exterior building finishes.
